Retro models are very popular, and Cartier is well aware of this fact. This year, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of an iconic model, Cartier is relaunching a marvel from the 1970s: the Pebble. Lucky for us, the iconic watch featuring an audacious and unique design has been brought up to date. Let’s take a look at the Cartier Pebble.

A watch designed by Jean-Jacques Cartier

The Pebble was a model designed by Jean-Jacques Cartier. His idea was to create a watch with a square delicately nestled in a circle. The dial has sword-shaped hands, Roman numerals and a railway minute track, all typical of Cartier. The watch is both unique and rare, given that at the time only six units were produced. Enveloped in a halo of fascination, Cartier decided to relaunch the timepiece this year.

An interpretation that is true to the original

Cartier has maintained the overall lines of the Pebble, giving it an 18-carat yellow gold case and 36 mm diameter. The dial comes in an “eggshell” beige colour that adds a touch of warmth. The 430MC movement drives the 2022 Pebble. The calibre is ultra-slim and hand-winding, oscillates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and builds up a 38-hour power reserve.

The timepiece is in keeping with the Cartier spirit, i.e., it is both elegant and original. Unfortunately, the model is not available at our shop; nevertheless, we look forward to helping you discover all the iconic watches by Cartier.

To magnify the Reverso Classic Duetto, Jaeger-Lecoultre has chosen a new face, that of Anya Taylor-Joy. The actress is a symbol of modern elegance and sophistication, just like the fabulous timepiece from the Manufacture. In this article, we reveal a little more about the young actress and present the new Reverso Classic Duetto.

A natural partnership between Anya Taylor-Joy and Jaeger-Lecoultre

Anya Taylor-Joy was born in Miami to Anglo-Argentine parents. She spent her childhood in two different environments: Buenos Aires and London. The actress has made a name for herself, notably thanks to the famous Netflix series "The Queen's Gambit". Her career does not stop there, she will be in the film "Amsterdam" and "The Menu". A watchmaking enthusiast, she also grew up in a polo family. It was therefore only natural for the House to be attracted to this extraordinary personality, and was immediately seduced by Anya Taylor-Joy's grace and charm.

The Reverso Classic Duetto, a watch with two faces

The Reverso Classic Duetto watch combines its savoir-faire with Art Deco inspiration. It features a rectangular and reversible case. The pivoting design features the three gadroons, the original 12 Arabic numerals and the sword hands. The reverse side is adorned with diamonds and reveals a second expression of time, a completely different personality. The La Reverso Classic Duetto timepiece, like Anya Taylor-Joy, is feminine and timeless.

Ever more efficient and ever more attractive, TAG Heuer creations never cease to amaze us. The watchmaker has just launched the brand new Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT, a watch that will appeal to scuba diving enthusiasts. Here is a look at this timepiece that is the perfect travelling or underwater companion.

A design that brings scuba diving to mind

There is no room for doubt; just one look at this watch and you know that it is a diving watch. The watch boasts a 43 mm brushed and polished stainless steel case inspired by the 2020 model. Meanwhile, some elements have been improved. For example, the case is smoother and the hands and hour markers are slimmer. Another new feature is that the 24-hour GMT hand is yellow, which offers a contrast with the sea-inspired blue dial. On this model, the insert is white and blue ceramic, plunging you once again into the marine world. In addition, TAG Heuer has engraved a diver’s helmet on the case back to reassert the watch’s personality.

A rugged and efficient watch

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT contains a 4 Hz automatic GMT movement made in Switzerland that provides an increased power reserve compared to the previous model. In fact, you can go up to 50 hours without winding your watch. The timepiece is set on a blue rubber strap for a sporty look and on a steel bracelet for a touch of elegance. Both bracelets are fitted with an innovative folding clasp that can be adjusted easily without tools. Deep dives are possible thanks to the sealed casing, which allows you explore the seabed down to 300 metres.
