A new movement for the Grande Seconde
This iconic model is equipped with two off-centre dials that slightly intersect to form an eight, the jaquet Droz fetish number symbolising infinity and balance. The new movement makes it possible to display local time on the upper dial and to double the seconds dial at 6 o'clock. The reference time is found in a second hour-minute dial. The second hand is always present and makes a complete turn every minute. The elegance of the watch lies especially in the play of the indexes as well as the Roman numerals on the upper counter and the Arabic numerals on the lower one. You will find another complication: the date. The legibility is improved here.
