A colourful summer with the Blancpain Ladybird Colors watch

Blancpain has always played an important role in the history of women's watches. It was in 1956 that the watch manufacturer unveiled the Ladybird, a timepiece equipped with the smallest round movement of its time. With summer just around the corner, Blancpain is giving us a treat with new, ultra-colourful versions. The Molitor watchmaker presents them in today's article.

A feminine, high-performance watch

Although the design has been developed to meet the expectations of contemporary women, Blancpain has not neglected the watchmaking complications. All Ladybird watches are equipped with the 1163 calibre, a movement decorated and assembled by hand. They also feature a silicon balance spring and a four-day power reserve. The oscillating weight is made of gold to match the colour of the case. The timepiece is water-resistant to a depth of 30 metres. This watchmaking expertise is wrapped up in a beautiful design.

A jewel-watch in shimmering colours

The refined complications are highlighted by sublime colour combinations. The watches feature a 34.9 mm case and a mother-of-pearl dial set with diamonds. The alligator leather straps and Roman numerals match. You can choose from a range of beautiful shades, including turquoise, lilac, forest green, peacock green and midnight blue. The top-of-the-range setting adds phenomenal sparkle to your wrist.

Both front and back, the latest additions to the Ladybird line are the quintessence of luxury watchmaking. Discover them in our boutique.
