About Isabelle Langlois
Isabelle Langlois has always been passionate about drawings of flowers, leaves, butterflies and beetles, sketching them in secret notebooks and associating them with coloured gemstones. She later earned a diploma from EDHEC and gained experience at the biggest houses on Place Vendôme, giving her the opportunity to bring the best out of coloured gemstones. In 1992, she decided to found her own brand, thus opening a shop in Paris, a place where she combines shapes, lights and colours by playing with over 70,000 gemstones.
A history rooted in heritage and excellence
Originally from the Jura, Isabelle’s family evolved in a region known for the quality and colour of its coloured stones. Her family founded a lapidary studio that would forever mark Isabelle’s life. René, her grandfather, decided to leave the Jura and go to Paris, where he would begin a career in gemstone trading. This decision eventually turned him into one of the largest gem traders in Europe, working as supplier to the prestigious jewellers on Place Vendôme. His passion was passed on to other family members, who continue to perpetuate it. Isabelle and her brothers currently maintain this ancestral knowledge.
