Hermès is freshening up its collection of timepieces with some sportier models. The H08 range features smoother lines with softer edges and masculine overtones, a new offering that is the perfect complement to the brand's collections. A closer look at the chic and sporty Hermès H08.

Hermès quality

The Hermès H08 collection is powered by calibre H1837, which is made by Hermès at its production plant in Switzerland. The movement oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and builds up a 50-hour power reserve, meaning that you can forget about winding it the entire weekend. In terms of water resistance, it withstands up to 10 bar. All the watches in this range come with either an orange or black rubber strap or a black or blue fabric strap. It is also possible to opt for a titanium bracelet with satin-brushed central links and a butterfly clasp.

A watch for the modern man

The cushion-shaped case measuring 39 x 39 mm comes in three versions. The Hermès H08 can have a case in graphene composite, matte black DLC-coated titanium or brushed titanium. The flat sapphire glass has anti-reflective treatment, as does the transparent case back offering a view of the in-house movement. Meanwhile, the bezel features an attractive sunray finish. There are Arabic numerals placed on the outer part of the dial as well as a date window at 4:30. The indexes and hands are coated in Super-LumiNova® to ensure excellent readability in all conditions!

A nice geometric piece that Hermès has created with talent. Come take a look at it at the Molitor shop.

Ole Lynggaard has been a major player in Scandinavian jewellery for five decades. The jewellery maker was established in Copenhagen in 1963 and quickly became the epitome of fine Danish jewellery. This week, we take a look at this jeweller and its Leaves collection.

Ole Lynggaard : first and foremost, a family

At the head of this wonderful family story is a brother-sister team that took over the reins from their father, Ole Lynggaard. On the one hand, there is Charlotte Lynggaard, the brand’s lead designer and creative director, and on the other, Søren Lynggaard, the CEO. Together they bring us complex jewellery inspired by flora and fauna. Passion, joy of life, uniqueness, quality and confidence are the values they seek to convey. The brand offers a range of unusual pieces that are in sync with women’s daily lives. The best part ? All the jewellery can be worn together ! There are endless combinations of delicate and more extravagant pieces. With their organic curves, poetry and optimism, these timeless pieces of jewellery never go out of style. Most of the jewellery is made out of polished or satin-brushed 18-carat gold and adorned with precious stones and diamonds.

The Leaves collection by Ole Lynggaard, an ode to the beauty of foliage

Charlotte Lynggaard, like her father, is a true nature lover. She drew her inspiration from the natural sculptural beauty of foliage to create this collection. The entire range, which is an expression of these delicate leaves, is handcrafted. Stacked or on their own, these leaves can be worn on any occasion. All the luxurious feminine pieces in the Leaves collection will captivate you with their details.

A cherry red dial that is pretty enough to eat

Its universal design has won over many a watch lover. As technical as it is beautiful, the Aquis Date Relief will captivate you with its originality. The red dial has a striking sunray finish. The unusual colour enhances the already excellent readability, an important feature for a diving watch. The multi-piece stainless steel metal bracelet has a folding clasp with extension for secure wearing underwater.
